Work in progress December 2016

New work in the studio

The whiff of fresh oil paint...
*****************************************************************

As the holidays have come upon us, I've found myself with a bit more time to devote to the studio. The first job was to repair a painting damaged in the move to Bruton, but now I'm onto something new. Or rather, not quite new, but part-done and unresolved from some time ago. This painting had been started, then left, as I didn't know where I was going with it. Now I do and I'm pleased with it. I think the progress is a result of having the freedom and space - mental and physical - to look and think and work. It should soon be finished. Next: to find somewhere to exhibit it. Merry Christmas!
