Day Four of the art challenge

Looky looky
This image, taken in London a few years ago, is indicative of my interest in space: how we use it, what it’s like, how it does things that we tend to ignore but which seem odd once we pay attention. I don’t have a particular agenda beyond those thoughts. In fact, it is sometimes hard to avoid that thing that photographers are meant to do in these circumstances: spot and photograph some pithy juxtaposition. It’s just a matter of looking.

In this case, I feel that a fairly unremarkable event has taken on another aspect when caught as silhouettes. You may or may not agree.

My nominee yesterday was Hampshire-based artist Barbara Strange. Who today I wonder….
