Work on its way...

Now and then...
It is always gratifying to see my work make its way out of the door. Sometimes it is new work - nearly all of my 'Winter Paintings' done in the early months of this year now have new homes - and sometimes it is old, as it was this week. It tends to surprise me when someone buys my old drawings and paintings, not because there is anything wrong with them, but because I have moved on to other things and am excited mostly about what I am doing now (indeed, my earlier work is probably more accessible; the more recent stuff is more conceptual and perhaps more of an acquired taste), and because I wonder how collectors have found them, as my activity on social media mostly concerns what I am doing now. The Internet is a weird and mysterious place (or cyberplace??).
But, whatever the case, it is great to know these pieces will make their ways onto walls and people will enjoy them - so much better that them lying around invisible in my studio.
Four pieces went, but this template only allows me to show one, so I have chosen this one to display here. I hope you like it.
